Everyone here is correct. If you've ever tried to lie about someone while looking them in the eye, you can explain McCain's problem. I am so glad that folks are recognizing the fact that McCain is a habitual liar.

Mc Cain could not look Obama in the eye because he knew deep down he were speaking some untruth, and I don't think you can trust someone who cannot even look you in the eye.

Oh c'mon! That's not true. If you can't look your opponent in the eye, it's because you don't want them to see that you yourself are lying. Think of how little kids can't look Mom in the eye--or kids when they're disciplined, how they don't naturally look the person in charge in the eye.
Obama wanted to interrupt because McCain's time was up and was either insulting him, mumbling on, or was not answering the question. McCain didn't do his homework. (Heck! His teacher died years ago!) He knew he couldn't answer the questions and sound like he knew what he was doing and sound in control. It was a run-away victory for Obama.

Not only did McCain NOT look at Obama.... but he could not directly answer a question. Why did he have to begin every "answer" with redirection? He could not address the question with HIS OWN answer.

Why should McCain look a liar in the eye when he knows he is lying to start with? He is only going to see more lies. Why is it Obama doesn't have the decency to NOT INTERRUPT all the time? Because he KNOWS McCain is showing him up for what he is.
